Suggested Teammates

  • Kazuha is an excellent Elemental damage buffer/debuffer and grouper. Childe is the character that can get the most out of his traits, increasing his damage to ludicrous levels while helping keep the enemies clumped.

  • Bennett can use his burst to apply an ATK% bonus to the team, while Kazuha can provide an additional elemental DMG bonus to the team. Bennett also has the ability to infuse weapons of characters inside his elemental burst radius with pyro when he is C6, meaning that any additional pyro DMG bonus provided by Kazuhas passive will provide a bonus for normal attacks of characters within C6 Bennetts elemental burst radius.

  • Xiangling like Childe enjoys all the benefits Kazuha brings into the team and the three of them together create an unbeatable elemental damage team

  • Double Anemo comps are well known for their general effectivenes, fast particle generation and strong CC capabilities, these two characters which people compare and debate on which one is better work perfectly together and will help skyrocket your damage to never seen levels.

  • Kazuha is an excellent partner to Klee, he can gather her bombs, group enemies, and offer a long lasting elemental burst which will allow her to fire non stop reactions, the ability to buff many elements at the same time will boost both her and Xingqiu another usual partner of Klee.

  • Kazuha is the best option to buff Ayakas offensive powers when she's being used in a permafreeze comp given this comp lack of elemental reactions

  • Kazuha is an excellent option to buff the power of Electro characters given her lack of other options to multiply their damage, Fischl's excellent base damage values get even crazier with a reliable partner to boost her power, debuffing Electro resitance, and buffing Electro DMG Bonus.

Summary

"As I see it, a Vision is the proof of one's strength, not the source of it. It symbolizes the mortal desire to always keep moving forward, but in this endeavor, we samurai place our faith in our blades alone."

Pros:

  • Strong grouping capabilities.
  • Perfect use of the Viridescent Venerer set.
  • Great party buffing.
  • Long duration burst allows him to become any elemental aura the team needs.

Cons:

  • Decent but not super good damage.
  • Can scale off many different stats, you won't see his max potential without many hours of farming.

Building tips:

  • Kazuha's access to the Viridescent Venerer x4 set means that this set will be his best set most of the time, thanks to the set's strength and versatility and it's ability to affect all of his skills at the same time.
  • Kazuha is an Anemo character with access to both decent ratios in his attacks and also multi-hit swirls, this makes it so that while Kazuha wants to build EM not only for his personal damage but his buffing capabilities, he can make excellent use of Crit and ATK stats while also needing ER stats to keep his strong Elemental Burst going off cooldown. This all means that a Kazuha can scale as much as the player is willing to farm for his artifacts.
  • Kazuha can utilize practically any Sword that has any of the substats he desires, while the Freedom-Sworn sword offers the most bonus to his damage and team buffing capability any other weapon will perform relatively well on him. Kazuha can make great use of 4-star weapons like the Iron Sting, Sacrificial Sword, and even and even 3-star weapons like the Dark Iron Sword.

Gameplay tips:

  • Kazuha's hold skill has a higher suction radius and higher damage to boot compared to his press skill, use it only when the enemies are spread far out or when you are ready to switch out after you burst, using his press skill three times against his hold skill twice over 18 seconds will generate one more energy particle and deal slightly higher overall damage but most importantly will allow you to swirl 6 times instead of 4 making the damage difference a lot more noticeable.
  • Kazuha can swirl multiple elements at once with his elemental skill and burst allowing him to give his party two or more different elemental bonuses.
  • Kazuha's skill and burst will seek any element in their radius of effect even elements affecting the character or environmental hazards, after finding any elements it will absorb any element found given this priority, Pyro > Hydro > Electro > Cryo, the Anemo component of his skill and burst will continue creating swirl reactions.

constellations power:

  1. More skill usage means more swirls, more energy more buffs, and more overall damage, this is an excellent pick-up if you enjoy Kazuha although it is by no means necessary to for him to be a T0 character.
  2. Great constellation that will make Kazuha even a better buffer for his team.
  3. More skill damage, while good swirls are your bread and butter this won't be too noticeable.
  4. 3 extra energy won't be noticeable especially after C1.
  5. Kazuha's burst is very strong, still his damage comes mostly from reactions so this won't be a big improvement.
  6. An interesting buff to main DPS Kazuha, if you like Kazuha and you are at this point this is a good pick up.

Talents

Passive Talent 1

Cloud Strider

Decreases sprinting Stamina consumption for your own party members by 20%. Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.

Passive Talent 2

Soumon Swordsmanship

If Chihayaburu comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro when cast, Chihayaburu will absorb that element and if Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan is used before the effect expires, it will deal an additional 200% ATK of the absorbed elemental type as DMG. This will be considered Plunging Attack DMG. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use of Chihayaburu.

Passive Talent 3

Poetics of Fuubutsu

Upon triggering a Swirl reaction, Kaedehara Kazuha will grant teammates a 0.04% Elemental DMG Bonus to their corresponding Element for every point of Elemental Mastery he has for 8s. Bonuses for different elements obtained through this method can co-exist.

Basic attack

Normal Attack: Garyuu Bladework

Normal Attack Perform up to 5 rapid strikes. Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes. Plunging Attack Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact. If this Plunging Attack is triggered by Chihayaburu, it will be converted to Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan. Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG and will create a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents.

Elemental skill

Chihayaburu

#Unleashes a secret technique as fierce as the rushing wind that pulls objects and opponents towards Kazuha's current position before launching opponents within the AoE, dealing Anemo DMG and lifting Kazuha into the air on a rushing gust of wind. Within 10s of remaining airborne after casting Chihayaburu, Kazuha can unleash a powerful Plunging Attack known as Midare Ranzan. Press Can be used in mid-air. Hold Charges up before unleashing greater Anemo DMG over a larger AoE than Press Mode. Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG. On landing, Kazuha creates a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents. Midare Ranzan's DMG is considered Plunging Attack DMG.

Elemental Burst

Kazuha Slash

The signature technique of Kazuha's self-styled bladework — a single slash that strikes with the force of the first winds of autumn, dealing AoE Anemo DMG. The blade's passage will leave behind a field named "Autumn Whirlwind" that periodically deals AoE Anemo DMG to opponents within its range. Elemental Absorption If Autumn Whirlwind comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal additional elemental DMG of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.
