►Suggested Teammates
-
If Keqing could choose herself, Zhongli would also be her first pick, and she'd be right of course!. Zhongli offers Keqing more damage, an unbreakable shield and the ability to petrify small enemies in place, allowing Keqing to charge spam to her heart's content.
-
Diona is a great support to keqing (specially Bolide Keqing), she reduces her stamina comsumption, gives her shields, healing and easy access to super conduct!, we don't know who the honorary cat is here, but they both make a great team full of synergies!.
-
Albedo works with everyone, of course. In this case he makes a great partner to Keqing because he doesn't need to get in her way to do his job; offering extremely valuable off-field DPS, and helping her reach that coveted Geo resonance, (which works great with her bolide build).
-
Barbara with Thrilling tales is the easiest to use buffer and healer in the game, she goes well with everyone.
Notably Keqing can make great use of Barbara's stamina consumption reduction allowing her to use less stamina while charge attacking. More charge attacks equals more damage!, you'll get a few free electro charged reactions on top of everything else. -
Even though Electro reactions don't scale as well as others, they are still very useful for characters that can spam them like Keqing, shredding the Electro res of the enemies is very valuable and so is grouping enemies together for Keqing's strong elemental burst.
-
Using Bennett means you'll embrace the chaos, enemies will fly all over the screen, while multiple explosions go off in the background, hopefully Bennett will help you finish off every small enemy quickly, with his offensive boosting abilities and the multiple overloads that will ocurr simultaneously!.
-
The geo traveler can help Keqing by being another piece into the Geo resonance engine, Buffing her CRIT Rate, and creating a baby cage so you don't have to follow small enemies all over the battlefield.
►Summary
Pros:
- Good AoE damage.
- A varied, mobile, kit that allows for many different builds.
Cons:
- Electro is not a good main DPS element unless it has broken multipliers or effects, Keqing while having good multipliers they are comparable to characters with access to melt and vaporize.
- Doesn't have her own artifact set that enables all of her abilities at the same time.
Building tips:
- Keqing has access to two different play styles which change which artifact sets she wants, first there's the Electro DMG DPS which can make good use of the Thundering Fury x4 or x2 set in four pieces or in a combination of two and two Gladiator's Finale x2 / Shimenawa's Reminiscence x4 or x2. Then there's the infusion gameplay on her which tries to take advantage of the great power (or Movement Values) behind her charged attack by infusing it with Cryo or Pyro using Bennett or Chongyun and using elemental reactions along with her charged attack. Depending on which infusion you are looking to play you can use the Crimson Witch of Flames x4 set or the Blizzard Strayer x4 set, or even Retracing Bolide x4.
- Keqing also functions as a decent Physical DPS in which case she can use the Pale Flame x4 or x2 set or a combination between it and 2 Bloodstained Chivalry x2.
- Keqing like other DPS wants ATK and Crit substats with the choice of elemental goblet bonus depending on which play style she is looking to execute. She doesn't make a lot of use out of Elemental Mastery nor Energy Recharge making building her very straightforward.
- Keqing can make use of any weapon that has the substats she desires, any ATK or Crit Swords will be great on her, and even weapons like Aquila Favonia or Prototype Rancour for her Physical builds.
Gameplay tips:
- Keqing gains a whopping 15% Crit Rate and 15% Energy Recharge Bonus after casting her Elemental Burst, making it a good idea to open any attack string with it.
- While trying to infuse Keqing's blade with Cryo or Pyro you don't have to worry about her own elemental infusion as it'll get overridden by the stronger effects of Chongyun and Bennett's respectively.
- You can throw Keqing's Stiletto in midair, this will allow you to teleport to it and perform an infused Plunge attack for a big chunk of damage! make sure to hit your main target not only with the final portion but with the falling one too.
constellations power:
- An incredibly small added scaling to her elemental skill.
- Keqing might or might not make good use of the extra energy, depending on her teammates, it is a lot more impactful than C1 though.
- A decent buff to electro Keqing.
- 25% ATK is a little low, but still is some damage increase.
- More damage on her elemental skill, not what we want.
- Keqing can gain an extra 24% Electro DMG Bonus by juggling all of her attacks and skills. Extremely underwhelming C6 but a buff to Electro Keqing which might actually make her a good choice for a not so quick swap sub DPS.

Stellar Restoration
Hold: Hold to adjust the direction in which the Stiletto shall be thrown. Stilettos thrown by the Hold attack mode can be suspended in mid-air, allowing Keqing to jump to them when using Stellar Restoration a second time.
Lightning Stiletto: If Keqing uses Stellar Restoration again or uses a Charged Attack while its duration lasts, it will clear the Stiletto Mark and produce different effects:
- If she uses Stellar Restoration again, she will blink to the location of the Mark and unleash one slashing attack that deals AoE Electro DMG. When blinking to a Stiletto that was thrown from a Holding attack, Keqing can leap across obstructing terrain.
- If Keqing uses a Charged Attack, she will ignite a series of thundering cuts at the Mark's location, dealing AoE Electro DMG.
