  • Xingqiu

    Xingqiu allows Kaeya to cool the room down, until everyone is frozen in place!. Kaeya as an auto attack reliant DPS will make full use of Xingqiu's Guhua Sword - Raincutter, this comp can just duo all the content in the game with amazing defensive and offensive capabilities.

  • Chongyun

    Elemental infusions are one of the most underutilized mechanics in the game, transforming all of Kaeya's damage to Cryo damage including his basic attacks, allows him to concentrate on just one damage type. This way Kaeya can optimize his artifacts for maximum DPS. this of course on top of the Cryo resonance, cooldown reduction and Cryo res shred Chongyun offers.

  • Fischl

    Kaeya loves basic attacking, and will make full use of super conduct and Oz's support. This comp is simple yet effective. and very quick to get started as a F2P player.

  • Xiangling

    These two polar opposites combine to create explosive results. The only requirement to do big damage with this duo is being able to activate their elemental skills and bursts off cooldown. Who would have thought that hugging your enemies would be so devastating, well it might be because the Pyro-Cryo-nado that's floating around you.

  • Razor

    Kaeya's second constellation wants everything dead fast. Razor is an expert at quickly dispatching his enemies, their combination is simple, you'll have full uptime of super conduct, and Kaeya's burst will run it's course through all of Razor's.

  • Tartaglia

    Another excellent perma freeze combination, your enemies will be dead before Tartaglia needs to take a nap, hopefully.

  • Bennett

    Bennet can support Kaeya at any constellation, but at C6 Bennett can infuse Kaeya's basic attacks with Pyro, Allowing him to melt every auto attack combined with his burst, do I need to say more? this equals to tons of damage!.

Building tips:

  • Kaeya is a versatile character that can be built in many ways, he can be an OK Physical or Cryo carry, or work in a freeze comp, with base on which play style you want to use this will change his artifact set. You can mix and match between any of these sets: Noblesse Oblige x4 or x2, Bloodstained Chivalry x2, Retracing Bolide x4, Blizzard Strayer x4, Heart of Depth x4, Pale Flame x4 or x2, Emblem of Severed Fate x4 or x2, Shimenawa's Reminiscence x4 or x2.
  • Kaeya like most DPS characters wants ATK and Crit stats, He has a lot of free Crit Rate on his kit and thanks to Cryo resonance so you can focus only on Crit DMG and ATK giving him a chance to catch up with higher base stats characters.
  • Kaeya can also make good use of the Elemental Mastery and the Energy Recharge stats especially on Melt-focused compositions where he'll be the only Cryo character.
  • Kaeya's has a wide array of weapons to choose from, preferring those with Crit DMG, ATK or Energy Recharge substats ( in that order ). of ones with Phys DMG substats for the Physical DPS build.

Gameplay tips:

  • making use of Kaeya's passive Glacial Heart Kaeya can become an incredible Cryo Battery, even better than Diona or Rosaria in this regard, By hitting Frozen or Wet enemies with his skill you'll generate 4-5 Cryo particles every 6 seconds, making him not need any extra Energy Recharge if you are planning on giving him plenty on-field time.
  • Kaeya's unique basic attack string in his 5th his can be used for quickly repositioning or dodging incoming damage as it is an immediate movement action.
  • Kaeya's passive Cold-Blooded Strike allows him to regain HP as it scales with the number of enemies hit and his current ATK value which can be boosted by his teammates.
  • When unlocking Kaeya's 2 constellations any enemy killed while his burst is active will extend its duration disregarding if his burst deals the killing blow or not.

  1. Situational and overall bad, truth be told you shouldn't be playing Basic Attack Kaeya.
  2. Usable constellation that will fail against bosses or strong enemies.
  3. Kaeya's bread and butter gets a buff.
  4. A weak shield, only usable if you are playing solo Kaeya without any teammates.
  5. A boost to Kaeya's burst which inches him to viability giving that his burst bot build is his best build for standard play.
  6. Another buff to Kaeya's burst which will actually make him good especially if he is batterying another team member like Ayaka or Eula.

Every hit with Frostgnaw regenerates HP for Kaeya equal to 15% of his ATK.

Passive Talent 2

Glacial Heart

Opponents Frozen by Frostgnaw will drop additional Elemental Particles. Frostgnaw may only produce a maximum of 2 additional Elemental Particles per use.

Passive Talent 3

Hidden Strength

Decreases sprinting Stamina consumption of your characters in the party by 20%.
Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.
