Suggested Teammates

  • Xingqiu is one of the best Hydro applicators in the game, and an incredible Sub-DPS, this pairing allows Diluc to vaporize every basic attack, skill and burst, skyrocketing Diluc's DPS, on top of this he also boosts DIluc's defensive capabilities by providing damage reduction and healing.

  • Sucrose is one of the best supports in the game, she pairs extremely well with Diluc given his decent AoE capabilities, she can debuff the enemies Pyro res while improving Dilucs EM, while also grouping enemies into one spot.
It is hard to decide who is the best support for DIluc between her and Xingqiu, but luckily, you can put both of them in your teams!.

  • Mona has great assets that only a connoisseur like Diluc can appreciate!, she can help group enemies in one spot, offers great AoE capabilities, boosts DIluc's burst damage, and also they have great vaporize synergy.

  • Diluc can bennefit from one of the best supports in the game, getting maing use of in full capacity of his offensive / defensive abilities, and now even boost his attack to ludicrous levels thanks to the Pyro resonance.

  • Melt is one of the strongest reactions in the game, Keya offers Diluc some of the best Cryo application in the game. With some practice you'll be able to pull off more and more melts from the Pyro side, skyrocketing Diluc's DPS.

  • Ganyu is an incredible DPS but she can also make a great support, her Cryo application is not as consistent as Kaeya, but her AoE radus is bigger guaranteeing that Diluc's burst will melt everyone on its path of destruction!.

Summary

The tycoon of a winery empire in Mondstadt, "unmatched in every possible way".

Pros:

  • Easy to play all in one character, good single target, and nice AoE damage with CC included.
  • Self-sufficient, he generates his own energy.

Cons:

  • Hogs the field for underwhelming results compared to other DPS hoggers.
  • His burst scatters medium enemies making it a waste of time to use in some situations.
  • His multipliers are not as high as they once appeared for such a low hit speed.

Building tips:

  • Diluc doesn't need any other stat besides offensive stats, his burst is almost always up with no Energy Recharge, so focus on ATK and Crit and EM.
  • Diluc has an artifact set tailored to him, which means that most of the time you'll be using theCrimson Witch of Flames set and this will always be the best option.
  • Serpent Spine is a great option that gets better with refinements until his personalized claymore is released, Wolf's Gravestone works great too with all the missing health mechanics Diluc already possesses.

Gameplay tips:

  • Diluc's elemental skill has no ICD while his attacks have the basic 3 hit pattern. The best option in most cases is to cancel each basic attack end animation with one skill cast, to speed up his whole combo and to use his basic attacks to apply any element like Chongyun's Cryo through his field or Xingqiu's rain swords.
  • Some enemies will get hit more times with your burst if you damage their poise a little before casting it.
  • Diluc is one of the few characters where dragon striking increases his overall DPS thanks o his permanent Pyro infusion and Claymore weapon type.
  • Your character will launch his burst towards the direction of the nearest enemy, you should take this into account to position yourself to make the best use of it.

Constellations power:

  1. 15% more damage 50% of the time, sounds like a meme. Not good not bad.
  2. 15% attack speed and 30% ATK is pretty decent, this works even if you are shielded so you can still use your Serpent Spine here.
  3. Stronger skill.
  4. 40% extra Bonus DMG on Searing Onslaught, 40% Bonus DMG is a good number.
  5. More power for your burst, you always have to use your burst, with good uptime so this is ok.
  6. this will change your playing experience a lot with the extra attack speed and the combo continuation if only base Diluc was this smooth.
