Suggested Teammates

  • Anemo partners guarantee Aloy's Chillwater Bomblets detonation guaranteing all her combo, Kazuha adds to her already absurd Bonus DMG% and provides the always powerful VV debuff.

  • Zhongli is an excellent partner to the fragile archer class in Genshin Impact, Alloy already has a very high ammount of %DMG Bonuses in her kit so she benefits a lot from resistance shred more than other kinds of support, Zhongli effortlessly increase her DPS while providing a rock solid shield allowing her to attack unimpeded.

  • Alloy appreciates any Pyro characters that can give her burst the melt multiplier giving her a heftly 900% damage burst at lvl 10, with low cooldown and low energy requirement, Archers always appreciate shields given their tendency to be easily interrupted.

  • On the very same vein as other Pyro supports Bennett will increase Alloys burst damage with has a relatively high multiplier for such low energy requirements, while also providing lots of Attack and Attack% Bonuses which will benefit Aloy a lot given her already high Cryo DMG% and access to the Blizzard Strayer Artifact set. Bennett can further support with Noblesse obligue and his excellent healing capabilities.

  • Sucrose is an excellent partner for Aloy specially if outfitted with the Thrilling tales catalyst, as her ATK% Bonus will increase Aloys damage more than other stats if she's properly built, Sucrose can also help her concentrate the enemies and her bomblets into one place while providing also with the VV shred we know and love. Her Elemental Mastery Bonus can also be put to good use if you are going the melt route with Aloy.

  • The Traveler is an often overlooked Anemo support, they offer a lot of crowd control, damage and Bonus DMG that other Anemo characters offer, his ratios are also very good for an Anemo character. The Traveler is specially fun with Aloy given their ability to manipulate Aloy's bomblets with both their elemental skill and elemental burst, you can choose to bring the enemies close to you and then hit them in the face with Aloys elemental Burst, or you combo the Traveler's tornado and Aloy's bomblets and blow the enemies away, creating distance and getting them ready to be pelted by frozen arrows. All in all there are multiple strategies and multiple builds to try with this pair of outlanders.

  • Mona is an great character in permafreeze comps, if you choose to play Aloy as a freeze combatant Mona will be up for the job, Mona's elemental skill will create distance between you and the enemies while also allowing you aim Aloys bombs on top of Mona's skill, guaranteeing that she'll enter her Rushing Ice state. Mona as always will have her Omen boosting the whole's team damage as long as the ice holds.

Summary

Aloy is another outlander in the Genshin universe, how did she end up here and what are her goals? (we'll never know)

Pros:

  • Free character!.
  • High DMG Bonuses in her kit.
  • Role flexibility

Cons:

  • Her damage is good but the competition is tough.
  • Requires some way to manipulate the enemies' positions if she wants to play main DPS.
  • Requires High investment to get the best out of her.

Building tips:

  • Farm the artifact set according to what you want her to do DPS of Sub-DPS, Noblesse Oblige x4 and even Emblem of Severed Fate x4 are great options if your only objective is to come in and Nuke the opponent for about 1000% Attack(with melt) every 12 seconds.
  • Given her High DMG Bonus% in her kit, she appreciates high base attack weapons more than weapons with a lot of effects even more compounded if you are going the main DPS route and using the Blizzard Strayer x4 set.

Gameplay tips:

  • Her elemental skill reduces the opponent's Attack while also granting her one stack of Rushing Ice on the initial hit, make sure to be at the correct range so this skill hits the strongest and biggest enemy in the room, this way his big hitbox will make him step on all the bombs quickly while also reducing the damage they deal back to you.
  • Most Anemo characters (not Venti) can pick up your bomblets and also the enemies guaranteeing their detonation and maximum damage, Jean can even pick them up and launch them towards the enemies.
  • Combine her with Bennett to make her elemental burst melt faces.

Elemental skill

Frozen Wilds

Aloy throws a Freeze Bomb in the targeted direction that explodes on impact, dealing Cryo DMG. After it explodes, the Freeze Bomb will split up into many Chillwater Bomblets that explode on contact with opponents or after a short delay, dealing Cryo DMG.
When a Freeze Bomb or Chillwater Bomblet hits an opponent, the opponent's ATK is decreased and Aloy receives 1 Coil stack. Aloy can gain up to 1 Coil stack every 0.1s.
Coil
  • Each stack increases Aloy's Normal Attack DMG.
  • When Aloy has 4 Coil stacks, all stacks of Coil are cleared. She then enters the Rushing Ice state, which further increases the DMG dealt by her Normal Attacks and converts her Normal Attack DMG to Cryo DMG.
While in the Rushing Ice state, Aloy cannot obtain new Coil stacks. Coil effects will be cleared 30s after Aloy leaves the field.
